The night camp.

It's six o'clock in the morning. The sun is shining through the trees into the forest and it smells of coffee. The latter is a lie and made up, because after a corona infection my sense of smell and taste has still not returned. C'est la vie.

This morning also marks the start of an extremely slow learning process. Garmin. Can I switch off the device in the evening and resume the route in the morning? Why does the screen suddenly have a blue frame, why does the device keep beeping and why does the navigation keep pausing during the journey?

But no time for deep reflections, the gravel is waiting. On towards Wismar. Initially, the legs are still pedalling smoothly on the second day, and Wismar is definitely worth a visit. Between Wismar and Rostock, I cycle mostly on cycle paths and main roads through somewhat monotonous landscapes. I reach Rostock in the evening. There I cycle along the waterfront and visit the old town, wishing I had more time. But the day is drawing to a close and after another 12 kilometres I find a quiet spot near Broderstorf.
